lsWeek 2 and Week 3 will have a 1-hour Round-Table (leader absent) facilitated session dedicated to Leadership and Strategy, and Communication and Culture respectively.
These sessions allow for candorous conversation between collaborative leaders. Opening space and time to be heard without the person they report to in the room.
It is the goal of these sessions to build confidence within the team and trust of support so that the leader can be included with trust and a willingness to be heard and valued collaboratively as a unit
Equiping the leadership team with the tools to share with their direct reports to allow for these systems to waterfall through the company
Round Table Sessions
1 hour structured facilitated session at the end of the month to work through points of discussion around a report based on overarching findings.
These hard conversations drive forward with iterative measures and overall deeper understanding around communication improvements.
It is through these difficult conversations that the team stretches trust and build and develop stronger relationships and clear understanding of each other.
The structure provided in the communication systems allow for the leaders to return to the oversight of their direct reports with additional management tools to carry learnings forward throughout the company.
The four-week initial approach offers several advantages and benefits for the team, fostering collaboration, communication, and a clear understanding of individual roles and responsibilities. The Discovery phase in Week 1 allows team members to share their insights, expectations, and perspectives while enhancing the rapport among colleagues. By using a dedicated Slack channel for communication, the team can collaborate more effectively, leading to increased efficiency and productivity.
Weeks 2 and 3 focus on Leader & Strategy (L&S) and Culture & Communication (C&C) round-table discussions, which encourage open dialogue and feedback. By holding these sessions without the leader's presence, an environment of trust and candor is established, allowing team members to voice their concerns and ideas openly. The structured one-on-one meetings in these weeks enable personalized attention, further strengthening relationships and ensuring that each team member's unique needs and goals are addressed.
In Week 4, the collaborative agenda for one-on-one meetings and the team round-table facilitate a sense of unity and shared purpose. This approach allows team members to collectively reflect on progress, identify areas for improvement, and celebrate successes. The regular email summaries with actionable items ensure that everyone is on the same page and accountable for their tasks, promoting a culture of transparency and continuous improvement. Overall, the engagement fosters a more cohesive, motivated, and high-performing team, setting the stage for the project's success.
